old on Sunday!Nate is still is on regular feedings of milk every 3 hours, he's up to 15 cc's now! (30 cc's is one ounce). Good thing because we're slowly losing our freezer space to milk storage...
Yesterday Nate was really alert and had his peepers open and looking around. He was gazing at his mom when I held him in his swaddle blanket but he got too sleepy to keep his eyes open. So sweet!
Alex got fed pedialyte yesterday and tolerated it very well. He started back on milk today after 8 days! Going really well so far. Yesterday we checked in on the boys and little Alex was going to town chewing on his hand! Not sucking his thumb but putting his whole hand in his mouth. The nurse told us that he must have been dreaming last night because he kept smiling in his sleep. Probably thinking about coming home with mommy and daddy. This week's focus will be eating for both boys. Speaking of, we went on a date last night after visiting the NICU. It was a rainy weekend in Dallas so we had a good italian meal out, maybe one of the last?

Alex now weighs 4 pounds 8 ounces & Nate weighs 4 pounds 5 ounces!
Jim set up the baby monitors last night and we got some extra baby towels and bibs at Target. The boys got matching Vermont Teddy Bears this weekend from Jim and Lynn! They were appropriately labeled-
