Play time

September 10-18, 2010

The boys have been changing so much! It seems like they are learning to do new things every day. Here's one of their new tricks: standing. Nathan started this first and Alex is doing it too now. They will stretch their legs all the way out when they want to do it. They are starting to balance themselves pretty well. They get really proud of themselves too. These are pictures of Nate showing off his new skills. I've also seen them start to try to pull up to sit on their own. They are trying to be so independent!

We started getting all their toys out for them. They love anything they can grab, that makes noise or can go into their mouths. The rattles are a big hit, probably their favorite thing right now. They love when they can make the rattle make noise by themselves. They also like playing in their baby gym more now. They lay on their backs and swat at and grab the hanging toys.

Here's Alex and his toy. They love chewing on their hands too. They'll put a thumb or finger in their mouths or sometimes the whole hand goes in!

Nate and his wrist rattle and hand rattle, noisy baby.

Alex's tasty hand

The pacis are still good for winding them down before nap time or bed time. Can you tell they're twins?

Yankees fans. Jim got these outfits on a work trip to New York when I was 2 months pregnant!

Checking each other out. They like to sit in their bumbo seats on the kitchen countertop to see what we're doing. They 'talk' to each other and to us all day now. They also back each other up now- if one's crying for a reason the other will cry for no reason. I guess just to further the cause.

Two handfuls....and an overweight pomeranian in the back ground. I'm a lucky girl
