That never stop exploring the wonder of today.
Ten tiny little fingers that from the very start,
Will reach out for tomorrow yet always hold your heart."
5 months old in 2 days!
New outfits (that Jim hates) from a big baby sale this weekend! Luckily, Mommy overrules the outfit decisions in this house. There was a huge baby sale in Plano this past weekend and I got a big swing, travel swing, baby bjorn carrier, sling carrier (don't know how to use it yet) and some really cute clothes. It was funny to be looking in the 6 month section, they are getting so big! The swings get them really worked up and excited over the flashing lights and mobile. It's nice for them to have something to do that doesn't make
The boys have gotten really picky about eating and just want to play or look around instead of eat. Feedings now range from 'that wasn't so bad'
to 'I'm selling this baby on ebay immediately.' When I feed them now I start out feeding them both at the same time on the boppys and then switch to one at a time when they start getting difficult. It's kinda like feeding 2 flailing octopuses- they kick and move their arms and head all at once... At least they are doing well with the rice cereal, especially Alex. In a week we'll go to rice cereal twice a day. They eat about 6 oz of milk now every four
I think their hair is growing in more now! It never fell out after they were born but it's so fine. They use their hands more to swat at toys and he
Now here's the bad development: teething. They started teething already, complete with drooling and crying incessantly. It's been kind of off and on and no sight of any actual teeth yet. We also broke down and bought some more pacifiers. We started off on the soothies that the hospital uses and we bought the more traditional ones that say in their mouths better. They like the
They talk so much now! They coo and will have little conversations with us, it's so cute. They love when dad plays with them and they laugh and laugh. It's so sweet when they smile or laugh. One second we will be beating our heads against the wall trying to get them to eat and then they'll just look up and smile and we forgive them.
We're going to work on sleep training, in their actual cribs, in the next few weeks...cross your fingers for us!
