October has flown by!

The boys will be 7 months old in 4 days. They are going through huge growth spurts right now. Alex has been eating about 7 and a half ounces every 4 hours and Nate is at about 8 ounces. They've been eating their oatmeal in the mornings and have tried bananas, green beans and peas for 4 days each. They're big fans of all food at this point. Alex is the best eater and will open his mouth waiting for the next bite, then snaps it shut. He's our little Alexgator. Nathan loves his food and feels like a hundred pound sack of flour when you lift him. They have been very playful and have a great time practicing their screams. Mommy had her first post babies work trip to Corpus for 4 days. Jim did great with the boys and will no doubt win the best dad of the year award. IESI does a lot with TML (Texas Municipal League) that offers sessions and info for high city positions, mayors and councils. IESI is famous for an enormous party that we throw every year and this year I got to plan a lot of it. It was nice to stay in a great hotel, eat well (lobster, quail and mucho seafood) and drink entirely too much but I missed my family and was thrilled to be home in time for Halloween weekend. Jim and the boys picked me up from the airport on Friday night and we spent a beautiful Saturday outside by Lake Lewisville. Dad had fun playing with Alex and Nate tried out his hat on with mom. We handed out candy to the neighborhood trick or treaters on Sunday. The boys costume picts will come shortly...
