Nathan in the best seat in the house. These days we are all about eating! The boys are now eating breakfast- 2 tbsp of oatmeal mixed with a stage 2 big baby food bananas or peaches plus the 8.5 ounce bottle, lunch- baby food and bottle, afternoon bottle and dinner bottle with big stage 2 baby food.
They have a new schedule prompted by daylight savings time- they eat at 8am, noon, 4pm and 8pm. They take one nap from about 1pm to 3pm and then go to bed after 8:30pm for the night til about 7:30am. The boys got their flu boosters today and I got their weights-
Alex was 15.1 pounds at the 6 month visit and is now 17.6 pounds!
Nate was 15.9 pounds and is now 18 pounds 16 ounces! Pretty amazing growth, especially since they started out so tiny. We took them to Lowes on Saturday and had a few people that wanted to see the future football players (that's what they called them). We started doing a bedtime routine with a bath at 7:30pm, dinner at 8pm, a story and bedtime around 8:30pm.I'
The boys got to see their grandparents this week because Jim's Dad was in town for business. It will also be easier to have people over now with the new schedule (unfortunately they were here week 1 of new schedule). They used to eat at 5pm and take a nap from 7:30-9pm so we really couldn't do much with them after work.
Their infant carriers will be too small at 22 pounds so we'll need to get new car seats in the next few pounds. They really do fill them up now.
We're finally getting cold weather and are looking forward to the holiday season! Thanksgiving is getting really close and we can't wait to do some cooking. We're planning on hosting Thanksgiving this year for my family, very exciting!
