First Trick-or-Treating!

The beginning of Halloween night started when Jim went to the
store and I stealthily put the boys in their costumes for about 700 photos.
We went out to take a few pictures by the pumpkins, theoretically.
Nathan thinks every garage door should be "on."
Eating their picture bribe cookies.
Devil Twins
Stomping around the driveway
Our spider webs
Cookies!
What's that?
Down the street there was a house with a smoke machine
and a haunted graveyard so I decided to check it out with the devils .
They walk in pairs at school to the playground so they will
hold hands if we ask them to (sometimes).
This is the most adorable thing. Ever.
This got a lot of comments, Awh's, look!'s and a few people took
their picture.
So. Because I was just planning on taking the boys to the driveway,
none of us had shoes on. It's 80 degrees so it's fine.
Mission accomplished: haunted neighbor!
Not really sure what to make of this.

The neighbor next to the haunted house was sitting out with candy so the boys took the most
toddler friendly candy possible- a melted Reeses and a melted Hershey bar.
"Mommy Bite?"
They insisted on eating them right then. Of course.
And Alex didn't want me to feed him, he wanted to do it himself.
During this time, Jim got back to the empty house, sees the boys' school clothes
all over the living room and walks towards the haunted house on instinct.
He found us in time to give the boys the nasty melted Reeses.
Toddler devils love melted candy.
Jim goes back to the house for some shoes for the boys.
I still have no shoes. Apparently, I will be a hillbilly for Halloween.
The devils bound down the street in search of more candy.
Nathan ripped his tail off at the house. It's held on by a tiny
velcro circle. Really great idea for toddler costumes.
Daddy came through for us! Now we have shoes and candy bags!
First Trick-or-Treat House!
"Tweet o Tweet!"
I need to eat this all now!
"More?"
Unattended bowl. They both took one each, very proud!
More houses and more candy.
Exhausting.
Bags full of candy
We had so much fun! This Halloween thing is pretty great!
Turns out we do not get to eat it all tonight. Worst news ever.
