We had all planned to go to Austin this weekend for my sister's baby shower until Alex got sick the day before leaving. Luckily, it was just a virus, the same one that Nate had about a month ago. After I took him to the Doctor we decided to have Jim stay home with Alex and Nate and I would go to Austin for the shower. Nate loved being the center of attention to his mommy, grandparents, aunt and cousin and Alex got some rest and re-cooperation with daddy.....and some IHOP pancakes. The weekend was pretty easy for each of us since we were only responsible for one!
