Nathan is running, climbing and getting into trouble all day every day! He can scale the couch and loves climbing onto his train table to play. He prefers to eat by himself and lately he has started bringing us books to read to him. Nathan loves to find mommy's things in the closet and drags around my clothes throughout the house. He loves the toy that says the animal sounds and wants each sound repeated by mommy. He will say 'quack quack' when we ask him what a duck says. It sounds like 'q-wok q-wok'. Nathan tends to need more time to warm up to new things and situations. He loves playing with Alex and they crack each other up all day long. Nathan has been the better sleeper lately, but he is in heaven when he gets to sleep in our bed.
17 month Alex-
Alex takes off without looking back. At the playground, at the pool and splash pad and with new people. He's fearless and tough. He loves running through the water in the splash park would do it all day long if he could. He laughs the whole time. The other day some kids were running back and forth through the spray arch and Alex took some big breaths to prepare himself and then ran right through it with both his arms up. He did it over and over. Alex is a super fast climber at the playground. Alex and Nathan both love going down the slide, it's their favorite thing right now. Alex loves playing with his toys and brother. He's been a great eater and loves eating by himself. He doesn't like picking up slimey things and prefers crackers and other dry foods. He's been sleeping pretty well lately but we seem to have Alex in our bed more than Nate.
