6 Month Stats

The boys had their 6 month check up this week with Dr Newton. They are doing great and getting huge!

Alex's stats-

Weight: 15 pounds 1 ounce (10-25th percentile)
Height: 25.8 inches (25-50th percentile)
Head Circumference: 17.3 inches (50-75th percentile)

Nate's stats-

Weight: 15 pounds 9 ounces (10-25th percentile)
Height: 25.5 inches (25-50th percentile)
Head Circumference: 17.5 (75-90th percentile!!)

They both grew 2 inches in 2 months and their heads got huge! Doc said that was genetic, thanks Dad!
They can move to regular formula now and they'll start eating all the fun baby foods. They're eating oatmeal twice a day now and about 35 ounces of formula a day....24-32 is typical for 6 months. They're baby pigs.

We had a developmental appointment last week that was set up by the NICU before we left. They are developing well and are doing everything they are supposed to. The appointment felt like a waste of time and energy, but I'm happy that we don't have to go back and that they are doing so well. However, they did pick up the stomach virus from this appointment and it has been a nightmare! They were sick for about a week and are just now feeling back to normal. I caught it from them and Jim caught it from me, not a fun week. Next first memory please, first family flu was NOT a great one. The pediatrician said that getting sick is going to happen and it's more important for them to get over being sick on their own and boost their immune systems.
