20 months Nate
Nathan is very snuggly and loves hugging his stuffed animals and us. He'll lay his head down on anything that is soft which is very cute. He loves climbing on his train table which he gets in trouble for. I have walked into the playroom many times to find him inside the train table drawer playing with toys. Also getting on the coffee table is very important to him. One night, after 2 consecutive minutes of quiet we decided to investigate...sure enough they had worked together to pull out a dining room chair, turn it sideways and one was holding the chair so that the other could climb it and then climb onto the table and walk around on it. If they make it to 18 without any major injuries I will be very surprised. For the past week he'll hear the bath water running and bolt to get a toy to throw into the water (books, stuffed animals, etc). Nathan has been sleeping well but has been not wanting to go to bed. We just recovered from a week with the flu and are back to eating like champs! Finally!
20 months Alex
Alex loves this one touch and feel book of animals. If you ask "where's your kitty?" he'll run and get it and get very excited while saying "hey kitty." So funny. He has been a big climber as well. He loves playing peek-a-boo and will put a fist over his forehead to play. If you say any sentence with the words "where is..." he'll immediately cover part of his face to play. Alex really likes all the Christmas lights and loves touching the tree. Alex also has the funniest little run, he never walks anywhere now. He has learned how to look out the corner of his eyes recently so he'll turn his head slowly with his eyes to one side which is hilarious to watch. He also will spin a a circle doing this. Teething is still a big problem, I think they should have 400 teeth by now. Alex is a very stubborn guy and has been horrible to get to go to bed lately. If they are both in bed by 10pm and sleep through the night then it is a good night. Very tired parents....
