19 months!

 19 month Alex-

This crazy boy has learned a lot. He can now open all the doors in the house and loves doing it. He now has the ability to lock Nathan in a room because Nathan doesn't know how to get out. He gets into everything. He started playing with the gas stove top knobs as well so we did some additional child-proofing this week. He loves throwing everything, including up to 50% of his food. I swear that Tank has made a deal with them. They love feeding him and watching him eat. They also look for him under tables now. He has daddy wrapped around his finger- whenever he gets in trouble he starts laughing and if that doesn't work he does a stomping devil dance until dad laughs and forgets. He also hugs both our legs so that we can't walk or escape him until we pick him up! He is also a really fast runner now. Alex has started talking more and enjoys saying "uh oh," "good" and "hi/hey" a lot. He also is the best at waving hi and bye at people.
He has been sleeping well and eating a little less lately. Alex and Nathan have 4 molars each now! A lot of teeth are starting to come in.

19 month Nathan

Nathan wants to talk all the time now! he has started to say "thank you" when we hand him things (and also when he hands us things). He loves trying to repeat words and when he gets excited he says "HEY!!" He says "good" "Tank" "Hi/Hey" and "go" the most. He loves Tank and chasing after him and loves Alex so much. He likes to pat Alex on the head a lot. Nathan has been a wonderful sleeper but has become a very picky eater and a major temper tantrum thrower. He likes to taste his food and then pull it back out of his mouth and throw it. Great.  Jim has made them their first grilled cheese sandwiches, which they love, and they both showed us their ability to eat an entire ice cream cone each recently! Such big boys.
