16 months!

We have walkers!

16 month Alex-
Alex spent this month perfecting his walking and learning to stand up without pulling up on anything! He loves walking around the house and being chased by his brother. He laughs a lot and loves watching Mickey Mouse. He hugs us and is very affectionate. He and his brother have learned the art of tantruming, of all the things to learn early, this is what they pick?? The boys are sleeping better, mostly because we have adjusted their schedule again, and the new bedtime is 9pm! They used to barely make it past 7:30pm and now we are taking them out til 9pm just to wear them out. We go to the pool or to a playground almost every night. Alex has 2 new teeth this month and we are just going to assume that they will be teething forever. The boys have been interacting with each other so much more lately. They are really becoming best friends and play together all day long.

16 month Nate-
Nate is loving walking, especially as it allows him to get into more trouble now. He wants to open and shut doors and cabinets all day. he likes to shut Daddy or Alex in a room or the pantry, or he'll shut himself in a room and hate it. He is almost able to turn the door handles so we'll probably be baby proofing them soon. We just added toddler locks to all the lower kitchen cabinets so we will see what the little monster will get into next! Nate got sick this month for the first time. It was just a virus with a fever and he felt better after a few days of staying home and being babied. Alex never got it from him which was great. Nate has learned to shake his head 'no' and say "nuh uh" at us, which is something mommy says to him a lot. He has also picked up saying 'baby' as his new word of the week. Nate has made it his own by saying 'Hey Baby' a lot now. At this rate we expect him to have a girlfriend by next month.
