15 months!

15 months Nate-

This picture sums up Nathan right now! Mr. Independent  has to do everything by himself. He insists on feeding himself all his food now, including chips and salsa. Nathan is always seeking out trouble, he wants to discover everything he can. When we tell him no he shakes his head and it's hard to keep serious. Nathan has taken some good steps and we have been playing the game of trying to get them walking. He will stand on his own for a while and then we all clap. He loves going to the pool and smiles as soon as we hit the water. At the big neighborhood pool there is a wading pool that is 2 feet tall and Nathan is walking across the whole pool over and over! He wants to talk and communicate with us a lot. He also loves to see how loud he can scream....Nathan has been a great sleeper lately, even in Austin or Galveston! He moves across the whole crib in his sleep and usually ends up with his legs tucked under him with his butt up.

15 month Alex-
Alex is hilarious. He is always trying to get us to laugh and laughs at everything. We watch Mickey Mouse on the Disney channel and there is an episode with sheep that baa and the boys both look at us and crack up with every baa; like 'are you guys seeing this?!?!' Alex is a smart little guy and he is better at listening than his brother. He also loves playing tug of war with us, it's so funny to him. Alex is standing on his own well and is taking more steps on his own than Nate. He's so brave! The boys are becoming closer with each other. They love to chase each other through the house. Alex invented this game and in the beginning Nate didn't even know he was playing. Alex would sit in a corner and giggle as unsuspecting Nate came closer and when Nate got to him he would crack up and take off. They both smile when the other is playing or laughing like they are happy to see the other happy. I hope they will always be close. The boys are doing Your Baby Can Read at daycare and are learning a lot from it. I love that they are doing that! Alex has been eating well and sleeping pretty well. It seems like we are always battling new teeth in out house. They have both loved the playroom and all their toys.

We have the 15 month check up this week so we can see how much they have grown soon!
