12 months!

‎"I didn't say it would be easy... I said it wold be worth it!

Nathan 12 months-

Nathan is loving his food- both boys are only eating real food and whole milk now! Nathan loves pancakes, refried beans, pasta, rice, green beans, salmon, apple sauce and  ice cream. This month we are working on sippy cups and finger foods.

Nathan can roll, pull up to standing, go from tummy to sitting and sitting to tummy. He scoots, crawls and is cruising around while holding onto the couch. He always wants to be moving. Both of the boys have had huge motor skill developments this month. If the remote control is within 10 feet of him he makes it his mission to get it. Nathan is saying dada, mama and baba constantly. He loves talking and sometimes will start talking at night. He is just starting to wave bye bye. The boys love to scream, talk and laugh at each other.

Nathan sleeps so well now! He is sleeping from about 7:30-8pm to 7:30-8:30am and doesn't wake up often. Naps are now around 11am to 1:30pm. He has 6 teeth now! We have started brushing them too. Nathan loves playing with daddy and being babied by mommy. He loves laughing at Tank and being tickled! His favorite toys are the remote control, cell phone and toy drum. He is so curious. At his 12 month visit Dr Newton shined a light in his eyes and Nathan cocked his head to the side to check out his eyes.  He likes seeing new people but prefers to be held by mommy.

Alex 12 months-

Alex has been the champion eater and sippy cup user. He likes to check out his food and try to figure out what he is going to get before meals. Alex likes all his food except for the beets that I tried to give him....he spit every bite out!

Alex can roll, pull up to standing, go from sitting to tummy and scoot. He loves playing while holding onto the couch. Alex has a more relaxed personality and is content with whatever toys he has to play with. He loves looking at himself in the mirror when we pass them in the house, I say "Hi Alex!" and he smiles and laughs every time. He has started a shy act around people sometimes and will cling to mommy but most of the time he loves to entertain new people. He claps and smiles a lot. He loves talking and says mama, dada and baba.
The boys watch Mickey Mouse on TV and Alex loves Donald Duck, he smiles and claps when he talks. Alex has his front 4 teeth and is working on the canines. He has started flipping over onto his tummy and sleeps perfectly when he does it. he's really grumpy when he first wakes up and on daycare days he pretends to still be asleep when it's time to get ready. The boys are in forward facing car seats now and they like it so much better. They are doing so well are perfect little one year olds!
